My English Language Learners (ELLs) come from low income families who are just arriving to this country and are barely making ends meet. My goal is to make sure my students have all of the supplies needed to succeed, not only in my classroom, but in every class. Students are in need of markers, pens, oils, and Velcro for completing projects and a string of lights for the classroom as it has no windows. These are all basic essentials for students to be successful in school. Every school year I send home a list of supplies my students will need in class, however, many times I find myself providing the materials for them. Their parents contact me to let me know that they are unable to purchase the school items. No student should be left without basic school supplies. Please help our classroom provide supplies for students who are in need.
