We love getting to read stories during shared reading time. It brings a gift of learning to our youngest readers here at Bowie Fine Arts Academy. Providing these resources allows us to share our passion for reading to our students. The big pictures and illustrations allow for the student to bring their imagination to their learning. These resources will bring more variety to our reading and our students will be able to expand their vocabulary and imagination! My favorite way to increase the passion for reading is to read more, and the books will foster that within my students learning. My students already have grown in their passion for reading and using higher order thinking to begin learning to write and draw about the stories we read. These big books will help enrich their experiences with reading, provide them the base to begin the writing process and reading process.
