Flexible seating is something I would love to provide for my students! It is so important that little kindergarteners have the opportunity to move whenever possible. Their little bodies are not meant to withstand being still, they require movement. I want to be able to provide students with the ability to have options in where they sit, be comfortable while they are working, and most importantly ENJOY doing what they are doing. Often times I have students who do not enjoy sitting, so they stand and work, or students who NEED to move while they are doing their work because it helps them focus. No child is the same, so why should all of their seating options be the same! Please help me diversify my classroom seating to accommodate the many different learning styles that are in my class. The seating options my students will now have in addition to their regular seating are wobble chairs, stools, bean bags, and wobbly cushions.
