Because my students are on the Autistic Spectrum, it's challenging for them to pick up on the nuances of social cues. Using the external DVD drives and the Model Me Kids Jobs Skills Interactive DVDs, my students will be able to practice a job interviews that are recorded onto their laptops. As a class, we will watch their "job interview" videos on the interactive white board and break down what non-verbal messages are being sent by each student. We'll discuss various ways to send the right message to prospective employers so that they can go through a real job interview feeling confident that are indeed sending the right message!
