Technology has become an effective tool in the classroom to help further student success in a constantly evolving world. Many of the students that I serve come from low income families that do not have the technology we use in our classroom on a daily basis. In our classroom, we have 4 iPads to use. Many days, one of the iPads does not work properly, requiring someone to share during centers. iPads help to reinforce what we are learning in the clasroom in a fun and engaging way! Some of the students in my classroom are learning English for the first time. Listening to stories, learning letters names and sounds, and other basic English vocabulary words helps them to learn English at a faster rate. Having technology that works properly helps centers run smoothly with less interruptions. The kids love to use them and I love that there are many educational apps that help them to learn. Please consider donating so we can get another iPad!
