My students at SBAES are smart self-starters that have a love for learning. Having books that are on their reading level and slightly above will allow my students to read more and feed that love of learning. My students will be able to read independently as well as partner read without having to share the few books we have now. My students love to read and are excited to learn and having more age-appropriate books that are culturally diverse and go with their learning standards will encourage and motivate them to read more. My students have challenges that a lot of other students do not have but they are hard workers and amaze me how they love school and have such a thirst for knowledge.
