Drum heads such as these can be a huge undertaking for a school like ours. Most of the current bass drum heads we have are either dented or crimped, which puts them in serious danger of breaking fairly easily. Since most of our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, we do not charge a fee to be in band, like some larger schools are able to do. We rely solely on fundraising for purchases like this. By donating to this project, you are helping these students acquire equipment that will talent and drive. They will be able to perform without the fear of their equipment failing.
