A lot of our time in first grade is spent on the floor. From whole group learning to our daily morning meetings, free play time and reading together. As a result of Hurricane Michael, we lost our classroom rugs, due to water damage. These chairs will be a great addition to our classroom and will help get my students off the floor, giving them a comfortable and special place to sit and learn. We can use them for our whole group time or they can spread out around the classroom to use them individually to help when they are learning or for quiet reading time.

About my class
