We try to use many different approaches to learning about government and economics and the students’ roles in these systems. Two of the best methods are class presentations and debates. These activities help to build not only research skills, but also public speaking skills. The more experience students get with these methods of learning, the more successful they will be in college and beyond. My classroom is more of an open space, so this wireless microphone and speaker system would better allow the audience to hear these valuable presentations and then be able to engage in question and answer sessions.
