Kindergarten is a time for learning, but also a time for fun! Children need to engage in daily play-based learning. Right now, my kids don't have the materials needed to successfully engage in dramatic imaginative play! Children need teacher-guided dramatic play, as well as student-directed play. Giving students time to engage in play-based learning helps them become better problem solvers, socially competent learners, and more resilient kids! With a kitchen set and supplies, as well as dolls, my students will be able to engage in rich dramatic play with their peers. My kids will be much more well-rounded when they leave Kindergarten with these much needed supplies!
