A percentage of my school is living without permanent housing and the students resort to tiny living spaces or shelter locations. Most, if not all, of their assignments require internet access and the use of specific academic websites. I assign my homework on a website called castlelearning.com and too many times students have told me they do not do it because they do not have the technology outside of school. I am asking for ten Amazon Fire Tablets so my students can borrow them to take home and complete their work. By offering these tablets to certain students, they will have 24/7 access to the academic websites they need in order to succeed in high school and progress in their future. Please help me help them!
