My classroom currently has outdated technology that does not allow students to lead their own learning. These Chromebooks will be used by students to create their own lessons that they will student teach; check their own grades so that they can progress monitor their own growth; and access programs such as PearDeck that allows for differentiated instruction. Currently, students either use their phones which presents a number of distractions that breaks their focus and for those students that don't have phones, they must rely on using my personal computer. These computers would make a huge difference in helping me continue to empower my students.
