These Chromebooks will help give my students the opportunity to truly become “global learners.” Students can use these to connect with other students from around the world through platforms such as Hangout, Padlet, Flipgrid; so many possibilities! They can also use them to submit assignments online through Google Classroom, which will greatly reduce our use of paper and help us in our attempt for a “greener” classroom. It also prepares them for future careers. Using technology helps keep today’s student so much more engaged and excited. They are learning and gaining skills for their future at the same time!
