Our Junior High AVID students focus on study skills, the academic foundation, and college and career preparation. We will use the Dell Chromebooks to access career opportunities, two and four year colleges, as well as career preparation programs. Many of our students come from homes where post high school study is only a dream. The process of applying and funding secondary education is something that can intimidate parents. Students will learn to research careers, campuses, and the process of applying for financial aid. We will give our students the confidence, skills, and knowledge to pursue learning beyond high school graduation.
