This project will improve my students’ teamwork, distance control, and accuracy abilities. It will also teach my students the rules and procedures of a lifelong sport. It’s important that my students look beyond the typical team sports that are played at the high school, college, and professional level and look into learning the rules of lifelong activities that they can play by themselves such as bowling, golf, darts, etc. With the donation of these materials, I will implement a two week bowling unit into my course of study, and teach the students everything they need to know about bowling. I even plan on doing a few days of cosmic bowling if possible.
