So many students these days need to be constantly "on the move" and struggle to sit still in a seat. We try to incorporate a lot of moving in kindergarten, however, our young students are still responsible to complete independent seat work. The flexible balls, wobble chairs, and seat cushions will allow students to quietly expend energy without bothering students nearby. The ball pump will allow me to continue to maintain the flexible balls. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. These items will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get their wiggles out. They will be used as an alternative chair if needed! They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
