In order to support my students in the area of word study, I will need brightly colored card stock and scissors. The brightly colored card stock will help to differentiate my instruction within the classroom setting. The scissors will be used by the students so that they can cut their words out. Word study is important in the area of learning, so that the students are able to see and hear the words that they are learning. They are able to extend their learning by applying their knowledge of word study after they have learned a particular pattern. Yay, kids!!!
