We work on literacy standards in our history and psychology classes as part of the curriculum. This is not simply about reading and writing: it's about communication skills. Technology-rich educational platforms such as EdPuzzle and Flipgrid allow all students to receive individualized learning opportunities. Our inclusion classroom setting creates challenges that assuaged by the use of technology. These tools help me reach every learner in my classroom. Though it seems like headphones are a staple of every teen's backpack, many of my students do not have a set to bring to class. Having this technology readily available in class would allow all my students to participate in these valuable experiences. I thank you for your help in providing my students this opportunity to learn.
