There are so many resources available online that my students would be able to have access and use if we have computers and tablets in my room. Not only can my students become stronger writers by being able to use features such as speech to text, but they can also become stronger readers and improve their comprehension by having stories read aloud to them. For the days where some kids are struggling more than normal and sitting in front of me teaching them seems like an impossible task, giving them the opportunity to play an educational interactive game would still allow them to practice the areas they needs and allow them to get the much needed break but in a safe, controlled, and educational manner. For students who have social needs, being able to provide them with videos modeling appropriate conversations and social skills can help them strengthen their social skills that would allow them to be a more active student in their classrooms and community.
