The use of dry erase whiteboards are daily in my classroom. These dry erase boards are quick easy ways for me to informally check students knowledge. However, they markers are constantly out and the erasers seem to always disappear. The students love to use the dry erase boards; however, the constant getting up to get a new marker or an eraser is distracting to other learners. Also, using a dry erase board constantly can get boring after while. To make it more engaging, I pick students to come up to my white board and show their work because they love to show off their knowledge in front of their piers. By having a projector that is compatible with the board I have in my classroom, the students will be able to focus more on their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to increase student focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. In a technology driven world, any interaction with technology will increase their desire to learn!
