The Environmental Advocacy Club at our school is working hard to get a Recycling Program up and running in our building. In order to make this happen we need to ensure that there are recycling bins available in classrooms and areas all throughout the school. We plan to not only encourage students and staff to recycle, but we want to expand this to the community around us and encourage them to bring their recycling to our program as well. Students in the Environmental Advocacy Club will be responsible for running the recycling program at our school. They will meet weekly to collect the recycling and share their ideas on how to make our school and community more sustainable. They will be able to see their hard work pay off while also educating the rest of the school and the community about their efforts to be environmentally friendly!
