I chose the Math activity Center because it is a holistic and simplistic approach to capturing the attention of young minds. I already do Calendar Math on a daily basis where my students sit in front of the Monthly calendar. I have had to add in additional mathematical resources to effectively teach the most important parts of the math lesson when I can find them. This activity center, I thought would be perfect because it incorporates all the different areas of Math that I would like to be able to touch on each day with my students. Because everything is in one centralized location, it allows me to not waste valuable teaching time looking for resources. The snap and slide activity and write on and wipe off boards will allow students to be actively engaged and give then more hands on practice to master the addition and subtraction facts.
