I need these Chromebooks so that I can help my students access scientific concepts at different levels. The textbook we are currently using is older than my students. We have limited access to technology within our building. Having dedicated Chromebooks in the classroom would allow me to provide a more engaging alternative to using the textbook only. Students will dive into science concepts using webquests and interactive labs through Discovery Education. I will be able to differentiate articles and activities without anyone feeling shame about their reading ability. Students will also be able to turn in and keep a digital copy of all their work using Google Classroom. This will save valuable class time by avoiding wasted time looking for work.
