As students from a title one school in Queens, NY, they rarely have the opportunity to experience nature and the great outdoors as the way that Club Getaway provides in Connecticut. Many of our students are new to the country and haven't experienced life outside of their neighborhood. We will be participating in team building activities such as geo catching while testing our spirit of adventure zip lining and rock climbing. This will provide them with the opportunity to venture out while celebrating their accomplishments as fifth graders graduating to middle school and simultaneously, the founding class of our elementary school.

About my class
