The items in this project will help my young students have hands on manipulatives to use on a daily basis for both social and academic growth. Play is the best way for young children to learn new skills and this project will enable me to provide various opportunities to learn new skills. Developmentally appropriate hands on learning activities provide young children with the opportunity to try out skills and ideas in a relaxed and fun manner. The two options for comfortable seating will provide students working on the floor different options to make them comfortable within the classroom and away from home which can be young for little learners.
