Graphing calculators are very important tools in my students' math practice. Due to the cost of these sophisticated calculators, not each student has access to them. My students cannot afford these machines on their own and our district cannot offer one for each student. My students need graphing calculators to help prepare for the IB mathematics exam. Students can graph on these calculators which function like small computers. Since students are not allowed to use phones or computers during exams, these calculators will help them navigate the problems, calculate options and display graphs. Providing the right tools and support, I hope to serve my students more efficiently.
