Studies show that classroom design impacts student engagement. Middle school students are more engaged and better able to focus when they’re in a learning environment that is designed to meet their needs. Help me transform my math intervention classroom into a comfortable, flexible learning environment for my struggling learners. I'd like to redesign my classroom with new tables to replace traditional desks, along with a variety of seating options that allow students to move as they learn. This flexible seating design will allow my students to choose where they will learn best each day. This will also make it easier for students to work in groups, and utilize the math manipulatives during lessons and activities.
