This type of technology will also allow for access to a wider array of therapy materials for all ages by making use of what's available on the internet and apps that are supported by google chrome. This greatly enhances my toolbox to keep intervention fun, new and engaging. My older students often get left behind and left out because they can't construct complete sentences or they can't read adequately. This piece of technology will allow them to learn what's available to them in an environment where it's ok to make mistakes and to take risks learning and practicing something new without the possibility of ridicule from their peers. I believe having access to a Chromebook will improve confidence and the quality of work that is turned in to their general education teachers.
