The desks we have in our classrooms are not very well suited for supplies. There is a saucer shaped area under the chair that is for their books. It is always messy and difficult to find anything. The book bins will allow the students to organize their books and supplies. This will help them to easily find what they need for each subject. Our transitions will be smoother if they can readily find what they need. When it is time to go to Spanish or Science, the students will easily locate the correct bin and gather the books needed. Everything will be organized and not scattered all over the place. This will enable the students to be prepared for all their classes.
