I am requesting an activity table, storage and legos. The requested building table gives a space for my students to work together on a shared activity, taking turns and sharing with others. The Lego Community Characters come with activities for the students to build and use vocabulary, helping them to grow in their communication skills. They will increase their knowledge of the those in the community around them, and what role each person has in daily life. Communication and sharing skills are essential for functioning in life. These items will assist in teaching students to build together and ask for needed materials. The food building blocks allow for opportunities for the students to build together and to learn new vocabulary. They can request the necessary materials for building specific items and engage in pretend play with others. Please consider assisting my students with learning and working towards their goals. Not only will they learn to share, collaborate, and communicate, but they will also be working on fine motor skills.
