In order for my students to become better listeners, speakers, readers, and writers, we need headphones with microphones like the Avid Products AE-66 Over-Ear Headphones. We are fortunate enough to have laptops in our classroom that our district has worked very hard to obtain in order to give our students a more effective and better learning experience. We use many resources online to practice our reading and speaking. For example, one program we use daily, called Imagine Learning, is meant to help our students practice and strengthen their skills. As part of the program, students constantly listen to lessons and have to record their speaking which can be the most intimidating piece for language learners. It will be much more cost effective to purchase a set of higher quality headphones that will last a long time and provide a much more engaging and meaningful learning experience for my students. We have had low quality headphones provided in the past, and have gone through loads of them because they break and malfunction all the time- we are running out! Thank you so much for taking the time to read about this project and for caring about my students. I hope you will consider helping out- any amount is completely appreciated.
