In manufacturing, Aerospace has become a big industry especially locally. Students not only need to learn physics and math they also need to learn the “shop” side skills to manufacturing. Design and Engineering go hand and hand and space is the future so we would like to expose our students to the universe and explore what it takes to get there. Our students are going to plan, design and manufacture a prototype of a Planetarium and then they will build a 9ft tall Planetarium for all students at the school to be able to utilize when finished. Please help our students reach for the stars. We will need corrugated cardboard, hot glue sticks, a half-dome panoramic mirror, card stock, a cart, rivets, scissors, duct tape, tape, sharpies, and safety cutters to construct the planetarium.
