These extra tablets will help a couple more students be able to access them for research, pictures, videos, and applications for PLTW without having to wait for them on a schedule shared between the whole school. When grade levels and classrooms have to share technology school-wide, the students who have to wait for the technology piece of their project may not be able to finish with fidelity. In addition, students that cannot access technology for PLTW applications will not be able to complete them; therefore, not fully understand how to problem-solve real-world issues. Plus, the old iPads we still use are constantly crashing with these applications. Right now, we are having to share very old iPads, and some small tablets between the whole school for Project Based Learning, and Project Lead the Way.
