It is important to provide our youth and the leaders of tomorrow with the necessary resources to be successful. My job is to provide students with documented disabilities instructional support in a mainstream setting, small-group, or one-on-one. Within my DonorsChoose request, I have selected a variety of research-based phonics resources that will promote phonological and phonemic awareness to multiple learning styles. I have also included flexible seating to foster a learning environment that is less restrictive than traditional classroom seating. With a wide range of developmental disorders, social disorders, and English-language acquisition, these resources will grant a group of at-risk students more opportunities to increase their phonological and phonemic awareness in a way that is beneficial to them based on their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
