I am hoping to build a classroom library, with your help, to grow our literature circles so all levels of readers are engaged. This is why you see multiple copies of specific texts including I'll Give You the Sun, Every Falling Star, How I Resist, The Kite Runner, All American Boys, and The Hate U Give. Students will have three or so titles to choose from for their circles. After reading, they divide into circles and discuss the reading. This grows literacy and leadership, as they get to choose, and they facilitate their own discussions. I love seeing the spark in my student's eyes when they realize there IS a book written just for them! Thank you for supporting my classroom and public education!
