We have rebranded our Saturday Academy to a Saturday Steam Academy. Previously students hated going to Saturday school, however most recently we have developed an exciting program that students want to attend. However to keep students engaged we need more technology and hands on activities for students. Students will be able to use chromebooks and other technology to further understand their environment and to practice necessary academic skills. At a recent session students used different recipes to make slime and discovered how different recipes affect the viscosity and texture of the end product. Students need hands on activities to spark inquiry and promote knowledge retention.
