About my class

I have some students that have emotional disabilities, in many situations these students find it hard to communicate their needs and wants effectively. At one time these students would have to deal with the frustration and self soothe just to receive some relief and this often takes a lot of time. Now iPads and tablets have apps that provide students with this sort of disability the opportunity to express their emotions, needs, and wants digitally with the use of IPads and tablets. Students in this group also have tremendous deficits and academic gaps, many are not equipped to handle and manipulate the basic skills in the core areas of Math and Language Arts to move forward in subsequent levels. The requested tools will give learners the opportunity to digitally work with basic skills with the goal of obtaining the necessary grade level goals. Studies shown the current generations learn easier and faster through digital and touch-access learning.
