I have wanted to get some baseball gloves for my students ever since I took this job and saw the lack of equipment that we have. I want my students to have the opportunity to learn how to play as many sports and games as possible throughout the year in my PE class. We are very limited on the equipment that we have and any materials will help, but with 10 baseball gloves we can actually focus on the skills of fielding, catching, and throwing baseballs in depth instead of just scratching the surface of the skill without the proper equipment. 10 gloves does not seem to be a lot when you have classes with 20 or more students, but if I had enough for half of my class we could get more done in a class period as well. Half of the class could be working on throwing, catching and fielding with the gloves while the other half of the class is working on hitting skills.
