Students will get the opportunity to exercise while learning about beats, rhythm, and taking virtual field trips across the world to experience different rhythms from different cultures. Cannons Elementary is an arts integration school, and we love to try to incorporate arts as much as we can in physical education! Over the years, we've done line dancing and choreographed parachute dances, and the opportunity to bring drums to PE would be incredible! With this funding, students would be able to come in and have their own drumming station, with 5 gallon buckets as the base. Students will use the drum sticks to create their own beats, as well as perform other music.
