The use of technology during Science class is essential to learning. During Science, my students participate in virtual labs and need the technology to research and expand on Science topics. Also, the tablets will be very helpful in our Science fair that we plan to hold in January. As a teacher in another district, I have seen the benefit of 1:1 technology in the classroom. While we are not yet 1:1, the addition of the tablets will greatly help. Currently, we have 15 laptops for 78 students. Our enrollment will be even higher next year. Any increase in our technology will help our students who cannot access the technology at home.
