My students are one on one with IPADS, and use them for journaling, reading, and cooperative learning. They also have notebooks for language arts and math. Giving students seat pockets would allow them to store their items. As a developmentally appropriate practice, I do not use desk in my classroom, but rather tables. This gives my students the chance to work collaboratively throughout the day. Giving students their own pocket to store their items in would help them accomplish more work and cut down transition time, allowing more time for project based learning in the classroom, students would love the space.
