I have a class of 25 ESL students who are discovering a love for books. The area we are in is of moderate poverty and some of the children only get the opportunity to read here at school. We spend 20-30 minutes a day doing independent reading. During this time, I observe their curiosity and imaginations sparking! It is truly a wonderful thing to see!
