I am requesting dry erase boards and a document camera. Understanding vocabulary and the concepts associated with financial need to be embedded in my students minds while young so that they can be successful in managing their finances and helping their loved ones do so as they grow. The dry erase boards will be used to help the students to understand key financial literacy terms like supply, demand, needs, wants, savings, and budgeting, as well as help them practice their penmanship when showing their understanding. The document camera will be used to to engage the students in interactive learning experiences, like introducing vocabulary, the value of coins and matching money amounts as well as creating oral word problems.
