The use of headphones is a daily activity in my classroom especially during my students technology stations. Students complete small groups daily in which they need headphones. The wireless headphone will allow students to complete their technology station. This makes it possible to create a small group for my interactive board without causing disruptions to other small groups occurring simultaneously. What becomes a problem is the fact that many wired headphones get tangled causing shortages which make them unusable due to distraction of volume of computer during the instructional technology group. With these wireless headphones students will be able to use headphones without causing disruption as well as allow me to implement another small group at interactive board in which headphones can connect to board and allow only the students at that group to hear sound of lesson so that the other groups keep focus on their instruction and learning. By having these wireless headphones, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning while add more technology use in classroom!
Since our area was affected by the hurricane, most families have not been able to buy their children headphones for the classroom.
With these headphones, students will be able to just focus on the academic instruction and have to worry if they have working headphones or not. Most of the headphones in our classroom are old and broken, so many of our students have to use the speakers on the computers to complete their assignments. This creates a distraction to those around them which is making it hard for everyone to stay on task. With your support, our students will all be able to work independently on their reading and math online activities increasing engagement and creating a distraction-free classroom!
