These books will open up new worlds and histories to students who are not able to explore these topics anywhere else. My students live in such a rural area and they do not have the luxury of venturing beyond its borders. The books in my library become a great way to break out of those borders, but I want these books to pique their interest and make them want to make their own dreams become reality. Fiction and nonfiction literature will be used to educate young minds that will hopefully open doors in their future. Reading is the key to their future.

About my class
