Students have often asked me if history can repeat itself and I have always told them that as long as we learn about the past, and remember those who lost the battle, it can't. Not only would this experience be a fundamental piece of their WWII unit, it would help them grow as individuals. Seeing the horrors that went on less than a hundred years ago can be incredibly life changing as I have found in previous years teaching. This incredible opportunity, one that they have never had before, is the only piece missing. Can you help us make this happen?
