Weighted blankets are used to help students with Autism and other sensory issues calm down and ease anxiety. I would love to have a couple of blankets available to my students when the stress and anxiety is just too much for them. A calm student is ready to learn. Weighted blankets and fidgets can help a student regain focus and calmness. I would love to have these resources available to help with students who are overwhelmed, upset, unfocused, and sensory overloaded. Fidgets are great for students with Autism and ADHD. Sometimes students need something to occupy their hands to help them focus. A fidget is a perfect solution for those that need their hands occupied.
