English Language Vocabulary Centers will make learning exciting and purposeful, as my preschool students move through their learning centers. Making choices as a preschooler is an important skill. By creating a language building centers, my students build their vocabulary, self-determination skills, and communication skills. With English Vocabulary cards, my students will be able to build their vocabulary using colorful, real, and current photos. Often outdated photo vocabulary cards present photos which are outdated, so students are unable to identify the targeted vocabulary. Realistic photographs in color will provide comprehensible input for my students, as they develop their language skills during these important preschool years. Many of my students come from English Language and low-language homes. Building vocabulary using the Reading Vocabulary deck for my students not only will help them learn to express themselves, but support their academic learning. Given more opportunities to build language through vocabulary will be a gift my students will use for the rest of their lives.
