In my classroom students engage in collaborative learning through centers. It is important to engage students and use 21st century technology that motivates and increases participation through students interests. Learning centers help meet individual student needs and differentiate instruction. Amazon Fire tablets will be used in a center to incorporate finding informational articles, using educational apps to grow vocabulary, researching information for essays, and creating presentations. This will allow students to be creative and centered in their own learning. To check for understanding during whole class instruction, students will utilize mini white boards to display answers. These resources will allow my students to grow through innovative learning with technology.
