Students learn best when they are engaged. Using these materials, I can help my students want to participate and learn through interactive learning experiences! Games are a great way to make learning fun! Putty, stress balls, moon sand, and play-doh help students to learn self regulation, relaxation, and focus, as well as give them a tool to focus on when opening up in conversation. For classroom and group guidance, it is important that each individual student has materials to use. Keeping these materials brightly colored and new will help my students want to use them! In order to keep these items accessible for my students, my office needs storage! I want my office to be a clean, organized, and peaceful retreat for my students to come to learn, relax, express, and feel safe and loved.
